- MAC S'sexy Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy brown with subtle, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer, which adhered evenly and smoothly on my lips without emphasizing my lip texture or sinking noticeably into my lip lines.

Temptalia is my favourite beauty blog and I love catching up Christine's new posts daily to see upcoming beauty launches and sneak peek swatches. I hadn't heard anything about the MAC Liptensity Lipsticks at all but when I saw the insanely pigmented swatches, I knew I had to try them which was only confirmed when I saw Fleur mention them in her recent favourites video. The MAC Liptensity Lipsticks are a limited edition collection (edit – some shades are limited edition but the majority of the collection will be permanent) consisting of 24 different shades, each retailing for £17.50 for 3.6g and launch here in the UK on the MAC website and on counters from the 29th of September.
The new MAC Liptensity Lipsticks are described as having a brilliant formula which pushes the boundaries of colour, with each lipstick holding an intense amount of pigment, resulting in extreme colour intensity, clarity and vibrancy.
The gelled base is said to melt on contact, providing fully saturated colour with a satin finish in one stroke with upto eight hours of comfortable weartime. For this new lipstick collection, MAC have collaborated with Maureen Seaberg who has the genetic ability to see upto 100 million hues imperceptible to the average naked eye which is pretty hard to fathom amount of colours.
The packaging on the Liptensity Lipsticks is incredibly sleek with colour coded, matte metallic lids. The lipsticks feel considerably more luxurious to the touch in comparison to the standard MAC Lipstick range which are just £2 cheaper; I thought the Liptensity line would be higher priced than they are so I was pleasantly surprised by their price tag.
Each of the lipsticks possess the iconic MAC vanilla scent, although I feel like the scent is a little stronger with these lipsticks which I'm all for as I love the scent of MAC lipsticks and I have four shades from the twenty four strong lineup;
Mulling Spices: a deep burgundy toned red.
Burnt Violet: a darkened plum – almost a more intense version of MAC Rebel.
Blue Beat: a dark navy with a hint of violet.
Double Fudge: an intense reddy toned chocolate brown.
Each of these swatches are just one single swipe of each lipstick – look at that intense pigmentation. I knew the formula was billed as being super pigmented, but I am so stunned by how pigmented the Liptensity Lipsticks are, especially have they have a gorgeously glossy finish akin to that of the MAC Amplified finish or a more intense incarnation of the Cremesheen finish.
Due to the glossy finish I did initially think that the longevity might not have been great but I'm pleased to confirm that they are as impressive in terms of pigmentation as they are with their longevity and their ability to wear away evenly throughout the day. I am so impressed with the Liptensity formula that I'll be ordering the nude and pink shades from the collection as soon as they launch, but my favourite from this foursome would have to be Burnt Violet as it's the most perfect Autumnal lipstick shade.

Mac Lipstick shade descriptions and finish (from right to left):
1. Please Me: is described as 'mid-tone warm pink'. Finish: Matte. It will suit girls with fair skin tones and reminds me of Colorbar Thrilling Pink.
Xmplify 1 8 2 – powerful xml editor. 2. Impassioned: is described as 'bright warm pink'. Finish: Amplified Creme meaning a creamy finish and medium to full pigmentation. Its a bright neon pink shade which is a favourite among the beauty bloggers.

3. Fanfare: is described as 'mid-tone yellow pink'. Finish: Cremesheen meaning its moisturizing, creamy and has medium-to-full pigmentation. Mac pro update os. Again a beautiful light pink for fair skin tones.
4. On Hold: is described as 'mid tone yellow raspberry'. Finish: Cremesheen. Its a very MLBB kind of shade for Indian skin tones.
5. Captive: is described as 'pinkish plum'. Finish: Satin meaning its long-wearing, semi-matte and has medium-to-full pigmentation. It suits dusky to olive skin tones a lot and is quite similar to Craving.
6. Speed Dial: is described as 'light blue pink'. Finish: Cremesheen. Its a bright bubblegum pink which will suit girls with american skin since the blue in it is very obvious.
7. Craving: is described as a 'burst of plum'. Finish: Amplified Creme. Its a plummy pink lipstick shade which will suit dusky to olive skin tones a lot.
8. Mehr: is described as 'dirty blue pink'. Finish: Matte. Its meant for Indian skin tones and recommended by MAC Artist Mickey Contractor. I've seen girls with fair to dusky skin tones carrying it with equal ease. Its a pretty everyday blue pink. Follow the link for the lip swatches.
9. Pink Nouveau: is described as 'mid-tone cool pink'. Finish: Satin. Its a bright blue pink and reminds me a lot of Candy Yum Yum although Pink Nouveau is less wearable than CYY and slightly more blue.
10. Crosswires: is described as 'clean pinky orange'. Finish: Cremesheen. Its a pretty coral pink shade with a subtle shine. It suits all Indian skin tones and is one of the prettiest coral shades Mac has.
11: Cosmo: is described as 'Pink Coco'. Finish: Amplified Creme. Its an everyday dirty pink which works as a MLBB lipstick for medium to dusky Indian skin tones. Its a dupe of Mehr and quite similar to Twig.

Firsts are always special and while picking up her first Mac lipstick, every girl goes through this phase: madly searches google for mac lipstick swatches. Then gets tired of the shades that don't work for Indians and refines her searches to 'mac lipsticks for indian skin', 'mac lipsticks for dusky skin', 'best mac lipsticks in india', 'must have mac lipsticks' and so on! If I've to pick my favourites, then I would love somebody to gift me Impassioned, Mehr or Crosswires. Yup I know Crosswires is not exactly pink and I should have swatches it with coral lipsticks but I've been obsessed about it from quite some time and when I saw it at the Mac store I forgot all about my project and immediately swatches it on my hand. Given my love for coral and peach shades over pinks and reds, I might pick it up next. Avi to dvd free converter mac.
